About Tyron
Tyron is a five-year-old Chow Chow and German Shepherd mix who landed with us after his previous owner’s living situation changed. He’s a large dog who doesn’t care for much physical affection but is happiest when out on a walk. Brushing him is strictly limited—he’ll tolerate a quick brush along his back and a few tufts pulled, but generally shows his grumpy side with handling, so grooming at the vet requires full sedation. Tyron seems interested in playing with other dogs and used to visit the dog park with his last owner, though we don’t recommend the dog park for him. He might do well living with another dog, but the fit would need to be right. Tyron needs an adult-only, experienced, dog-savvy family who can respect his boundaries and work with his quirks. Several meet-and-greets will be needed to transition him into a new home, and applicants should be within reasonable distance of Landenberg, PA. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworm and tick-borne diseases. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
