Skeeter arrived at the shelter feeling a bit unsure but has quickly blossomed into a happy, playful guy. At around one year old, he’s still learning the ropes and is working on commands like "sit." True to his Chow Chow and Shar-Pei lineage, he can be a bit aloof with newcomers, but a treat can usually win him over. He's been mostly indifferent towards the shelter's cats, but it’s always smart to do a slow introduction for any feline friends at home. Skeeter has been neutered, updated on vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped, while currently undergoing successful treatment for Lyme disease. He must meet all household members prior to adoption, and familiarity with his breed will make a difference in his adjustment.
