About Luna
Luna is a 2-year-old German Shepherd who landed in rescue due to her family's landlord restrictions. She clearly comes from a home where she was valued, and she’s adjusting smoothly to her new surroundings. She loves people and is unfazed by the commotion that comes with kids. Luna loads easily into the car for outings and is settling into her foster home without any fuss. She’s quick to show off her "sit" command and crates quietly overnight. Food is her major motivator. Walks are a workout—she’s a strong puller and will need continued leash work. On walks, Luna can be reactive toward other dogs, but she handled brief, direct introductions and fence greetings without incident. With a calm, tolerant dog, she may do well, but slow intros are key. Small animals and cats rev up her chase instinct—there’s no aggression, but she’s much too fixated, so a home without them or with an exceptionally easygoing cat is necessary. Luna loves to be involved in family life and adapts well to household energy. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
