About Caulder
Caulder is a 2-to-3-year-old, large, black and cream Labrador Retriever mix who came in from a tough neglect situation. Along with several others, Caulder grew up mostly chained or kenneled, rarely knowing real companionship or kindness. Because she missed out on regular socialization, most new experiences still seem a bit overwhelming, but give her a little time and patience, and she quickly warms up. With people she trusts, Caulder is loving and affectionate—she’s always ready for attention and a belly rub. Caulder gets along well with other dogs and has shown a gentle, sweet disposition in the shelter. She will need a patient adopter willing to guide her through basic training, commands, and housetraining—she’s eager to bond and learn with someone who has a steady, understanding approach. If you have space in your home and time to help a neglected pup discover how good life can be, Caulder is ready for her second chance. She’s waiting in Lisbon, OH for a family who will show her what it means to be wanted. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
