About Cactus
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Get ready to meet Cactus! This goofy one-year-old pup is searching for the perfect person or family to shower with all his love and boundless energy. Cactus is a medium-sized, 60-pound retriever mix who is the very definition of playful—his heart bursts with energy and joy! Whether he's chasing a tennis ball, squeaking his favorite toy, or engaging in a tug-of-war with a rope, Cactus keeps himself entertained and will do the same for you. While he is undeniably high-energy, Cactus is also very smart and eager to learn; he's already mastered "sit" and "down." He's a bit sensitive and may need a little time to warm up to new people, but with patience and a few tasty treats, he'll soon become a loyal companion. Because of his sensitivity, Cactus would do best in a home where children are 13 or older. Cactus shows promise with other dogs and could do well with canine siblings, provided there’s a slow introduction so he feels safe and confident. If you’re looking for a lively, sweet pup to fill your days with fun and snuggles, come meet Cactus at the Humane Society of Summit County today! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
