About Flint
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Say hello to Flint, a gentle soul seeking a fresh start and a loving home. Flint is about 2–3 years old and weighs around 65 pounds. He came to the shelter with his canine friends after being rescued from a neglectful environment where socialization and affection were in short supply. Having spent most of his young life chained or kenneled, everyday sights, sounds, and routines can be intimidating for him. However, Flint warms up quickly once he feels safe around new people and is eager for the chance to bond. Flint will thrive in a patient, understanding family willing to help him adjust to home life. He’s learning the basics, including commands and house training, and he’ll benefit from continued positive reinforcement. With his sweet and affectionate nature, Flint absolutely loves attention and belly rubs. He’s done well with other dogs at the shelter, displaying friendly and social behavior. Flint’s adoption must take place in person at the Columbiana County Dog Pound & Adoption Center, and regular shelter hours make meeting him convenient. The shelter offers a foster-to-adopt option to ensure your new pet is a good fit. All adoptions include vaccinations, dewormer, microchipping, and sterilization, and Flint is already neutered. Bringing home a wonderful dog like Flint not only gives him the happy life he deserves, but also helps save other dogs in need. Start your journey together! Apply now.
