About Disco
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Disco is a vibrant 1.5-year-old Pit Bull mix who weighs about 60 pounds and has plenty of energy to share. She delights in playtime, especially with her toys, and is always eager for outdoor adventures. After being found on her own, Disco arrived with a need for extra care and love. Due to her background, she may be nervous meeting new people—men in particular—so patience, space, and lots of treats are key to helping her feel comfortable. When she learns to trust you, you'll quickly see her affectionate and cuddly personality shine through. Her playful spirit and beautiful coloring have made her a staff favorite. Though she’s getting better at passing other dogs during walks, Disco would be happiest as the only dog in her forever home. She wants a space where she can be the queen of her castle and relax without the stress of other pets. She has previously chased cats, so a cat-free home would be ideal for her. Because she can be a bit sensitive and startle easily, she’ll thrive in a home with older teenagers who can respect her boundaries as she builds trust. Once Disco bonds with her people, she’s a loyal companion who will be right by your side through it all. Make their next chapter their best one yet.

Questions about Disco
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?

How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
While a fenced yard is ideal for a Pit Bull Terrier mix to run and play, they can also do well in homes without yards as long as they receive daily exercise and outdoor time.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Pit Bull Terrier mixes are often affectionate and can do well with children, especially if socialized early. Supervision around young kids and respectful boundaries are important.
