About Utah
Meet Utah, a senior Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua mix at Chi Town Rescue in Phoenix, AZ. He came from a hoarding situation and, while shy at first, he opens up once he trusts you. Utah shines in the play yard—he loves to chase squeaky toys, stretch out for belly rubs, and sniff around with fellow small dogs. After playtime, he’s happy to relax in his kennel. He’s not leash-trained and needs a secure, fenced yard (no apartment homes), along with a patient foster or adopter willing to give him time to adjust. Utah doesn't do well with big dogs or small children, but he gets along well with other small dogs at the rescue. He is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines, and recently had a dental. If you’re looking for a mellow, playful companion who asks for belly rubs and loyalty, Utah could be your ideal match. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
