About Utah

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Say hello to Utah! This charming little dog is patiently waiting at Chi Town Rescue for a special foster or forever family to call his own. Utah originally arrived at the rescue after being saved from a hoarding situation alongside a group of other dogs, and it's easy to see the progress he's made since those early days. He may be a bit reserved upon first meeting new people and would appreciate some time to feel safe and comfortable in his new surroundings. But once Utah gets to know you, his fun and playful side comes to life—he's always up for belly rubs and loves a good squeaky toy. Being a "young" senior, Utah still enjoys time in the play yard, sniffing around in the sunshine, and playing with his kennel mates. He is most comfortable with other small dogs and does not like big dogs. Utah is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and has had a recent dental, so he's all set health-wise. Because he isn’t leash trained and can be skittish, he needs a securely fenced yard and would not do well in an apartment setting. Utah is looking for a patient adopter or foster willing to give him the time and understanding he needs to blossom. Small children would not be a match for this gentle soul. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
