About Caper

Make their next chapter their best one yet. Caper is a bright and energetic one-year-old who is always ready for fun and adventure. She thrives on running in the yard with her dog friends, especially those her own size or bigger, and could spend hours wrestling, playing tug, and chasing after balls. After a long day of play and sunbathing, Caper relaxes with a deep snore, happily sprawling out on a dog bed nearby as you enjoy your evening. This clever girl is highly treat-motivated and picks up commands quickly. She already knows several cues, including sit, down, come, potty time, go to bed, no ma’am, and drop it (almost all the time!). Caper walks well on a leash, though she can’t resist pulling a bit when excited to meet someone new, and she’s fully house and crate trained. Her affectionate nature shines through when she flops down for belly rubs or cuddles up once her energy is spent. Caper would be happiest with an active adopter who enjoys long walks, hikes, or perhaps training her to be a running buddy. She’ll benefit from a fenced yard and would welcome a canine companion of similar size for play. While she loves people and other dogs, she is best suited to a home with older children due to her enthusiastic play style with smaller pets. Caper is gentle with her food and toys, enjoys being groomed, and loves interacting with people. She’s sure to delight with her fondness for nylabones, frozen stuffed Kongs, yak chews, squeaky stuffies, and playful wrestling sessions. Fun fact: born under the sign of Virgo, Caper’s sharp mind and eagerness to help match her astrological traits! Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
