About Socks Wi
Socks is a 3-year-old Catahoula mix with a Red Merle coat who lives to make her people happy. She’s a goofy, sweet companion: picture her rolling down hills on her back, tail wagging so hard she thumps herself, and making playful snorts while sniffing new smells. Once playtime winds down, she’s all about curling up on the couch for snuggles. Indoors, Socks shines. She’s house trained, crate trained, only chews what she’s supposed to, and quickly picks up on useful commands like “crate,” “sit,” “collar up,” and even “spin.” She’s making progress walking on leash and her food motivation makes training a breeze. At doggie daycare, the vet, and on car rides, Socks is calm and good-natured. Her exercise needs are reasonable—a daily walk and some playtime usually do the trick. Socks gets along well with other dogs, cats, and has been good with kids 8 and up. She’d happily join a home with a relaxed dog companion or would do great as the only pet, so long as she gets lots of attention. She’s looking for a home in Warren, ME, where she can keep spreading joy and get all the care and snuggles she deserves. Click apply to start the adoption process.
