About Vince Gill
Meet Vinnie â Your New Best Friend Vince has weathered a lot in his ten years. He was rescued from a heartbreaking outdoor hoarding situation in Texas, where he lived among more than 40 other chihuahuas. After being transported to Michigan, Vince had all but 4 teeth removed, tested positive for heartworm and began a rigorous three-month treatment. While fighting the illness, he also had to learn what it meant to live inside a homeâsomething entirely new to him. Despite his rough start, Vince slowly warmed up to his foster siblings, including the resident cats. It took nearly five months before he felt safe enough to initiate play. Having never been on a leash before, Vince is still learning the ropesâliterally. He struggles with anxiety, often trembling in unfamiliar situations, and wears a belly band indoors. The good news? If he's wearing it, he won't have accidents or mark. Vince may be a senior, but his heart is full of hope and he loves his people. If you can offer him a soft spot on the couch or a warm lap to curl up in, he'll repay you with quiet gratitude and unconditional love.
