About Vince Gill
Meet Vinnie, a ten-year-old chihuahua who has seen more than his share of tough situations. Vinnie lived outside with over 40 other chihuahuas in Texas, surviving a large-scale hoarding case before his rescue in Michigan. His life inside a house is still relatively new, and he’s slowly getting comfortable with it. Nearly all of his teeth were removed, and he underwent months of heartworm treatment, showing more grit than most. Vince takes his time, needing almost five months before he felt ready to engage with his foster siblings—including both dogs and the house cats, whom he gets along with now. Leash walks are still a work in progress: it’s all foreign, but he’s making headway. Vinnie’s anxiety shows in unfamiliar environments—he trembles and prefers routine. If you lend him your patience and a spot on the couch, he’ll quietly thank you with his constant company and the kind of steadfast loyalty only a senior dog can offer. Vinnie uses a belly band indoors and is reliable with it. He’s grateful for every small comfort and would be a gentle, devoted presence in a calm home. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!

Questions about Vince Gill
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Chihuahuas like Vince Gill do best in quiet homes, whether apartments or houses, where they can bond closely with their people. They prefer a stable routine and a secure environment.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Vince Gill, as a Chihuahua, doesn't require much yard space. He benefits from short walks and safe, supervised outdoor time but can thrive without a large backyard.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Chihuahuas can live with respectful older children, but because Vince Gill is a senior and may be anxious, a calm household without young kids would likely suit him best.
