About Wishbone
Wishbone is a gentle and sweet cat who is learning to embrace his new life. Born in late spring 2020, he arrived at Big Sid's Sanctuary in May 2024, and his character is starting to shine as he adjusts. Initially quiet and reserved, he flourishes in a safe environment, especially when belly rubs are involved. His purring and affectionate head rubs are his way of expressing happiness. Wishbone enjoys the company of other cats and would thrive with one or two feline companions in a caring home that understands his shyness. It takes him some time to warm up to new people, but with patience, he becomes a cuddly lap cat, reveling in attention. Though he has a timid side, he’s making noticeable strides in his confidence. Recently, he has been sharing space with Rhys, and it seems he misses his late friend Lord Farquaad. Wishbone's past experiences have shaped him, and while he once played the role of a bully, it’s clear now he just wanted interaction with a compatible playmate. He currently fits in well and enjoys bonding with other cats. From his humble beginnings, where he seemed like a mere shadow of his current self, Wishbone has made remarkable progress.
