About Gary

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Gary's journey to happiness began when he was rescued with an embedded collar and spent eight weeks healing in veterinary care before joining a foster home. Now, he is settled into foster and searching for the perfect forever family. Gary's foster is helping him learn better manners—he's enthusiastic during play and may jump or mouth a little too roughly, but he's quick to learn and loves food rewards. He's housebroken, will go to his kennel for treats, and settles down quietly once inside. Rope toys are Gary's favorite, and if you're busy, he happily tosses them for himself, keeping entertained with self-initiated play. Between games of tug, Gary enjoys sleeping in the sunshine, cuddling on the couch, and patrolling the backyard to keep it squirrel-free. He is incredibly affectionate and promises his adopters plenty of protection, kisses, and cuddles in exchange for a patient home committed to his continued positive development. Fun fact: Gary is a Leo, so he loves attention and shines in the spotlight! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
