About Luka
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Luka's journey to a new beginning started after he was left behind when his owners moved out, but now he’s searching for a loving foster or forever home. Luka is a six-year-old German Shepherd who has proven himself to be a truly good boy—sweet-natured and friendly with everyone he meets. He excels on walks, is a fantastic running companion, and is both potty and kennel trained, making him a wonderful addition to any active household. Luka gets along well with people and has lived with other dogs, but he does show some resource guarding and can be reactive through fences, so he’d thrive as the only dog or with an adopter experienced managing multi-dog dynamics. A privacy fence would help him feel most comfortable in his new space. Having previously lived with a cat, Luka may coexist with feline friends, but benefits from a slow and thoughtful introduction. Born on September 13th, Luka is a Virgo, known for being loyal and attentive—qualities he embodies perfectly. Give him the fresh start he truly deserves. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
