About Darla
Darla is a sweet 3-year-old German Shepherd who is currently heartworm positive and receiving treatment. Approved adopters will need to continue her prescribed medical plan, but all costs for the remaining treatment will be covered by Beauties & Beasts Rescue, ensuring she gets the care she needs. This brave girl, alongside her siblings, faced abandonment and is learning to trust again. She's gaining confidence and social skills in boarding, but a patient adopter will help her flourish. Having another friendly, confident dog as a companion is essential for Darla, as it will provide her with the security she needs to come out of her shell. Darla is still preparing for adoption and would benefit from a nurturing foster home where she can continue to build trust and develop her social skills. She is at the Haysville Building in Haysville, KS, and is available for meet-and-greets during public hours, Wednesday through Saturday. With love and patience, Darla has the potential to become a loyal and devoted companion. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
