About Rick
Rick is a 2.5-year-old male Pit Bull Terrier who’s got a real thing for fetch—his ball basically runs his days. He’s housebroken, crate trained, and knows his basic commands, with new skills catching on all the time. Rick thrives with people he trusts and, after a slow introduction, will warm up to other dogs, though he’s not one for sharing his favorite toys. He can live with cats, and right now his foster home has both, which he handles just fine. Out and about, Rick enjoys running, lounging on the couch, and any activity that involves that treasured ball. He’s best as the only dog in the house or with calm, non-dominant dogs. Give him treats and time—he’ll show his loyal and sweet side quickly. If you’re renting, make sure Pit Bulls are allowed by your landlord before applying. Rick is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and receiving regular preventative care. This could be the start of something paw-some.
