About Freya
Freya is part of an incredible pair of German Shepherd siblings who were at risk in Texas due to their reactivity toward strangers. At just 8 months old, Freya and her brother Magnus got a second chance and have really begun to blossom. The two are learning quickly, picking up basic cues and behaviors with consistent training. Since arriving, Freya has become noticeably more comfortable with both people and other dogs. Freya can be adopted alongside Magnus, but if they go together, the home must have German Shepherd experience and commit to professional training—one of their trainers will get involved in this process. If they're separated, Freya will need another social dog in the home to keep her balanced. She currently weighs over 70lbs and has more growing to do. Training classes or private sessions in Orford, NH, are included with her adoption. Freya gets along with dogs, cats, and children, and adapts well in an active, experienced home ready to keep building on her socialization skills. She'll be spayed before adoption is finalized.
