About Halo
Halo is a striking Carolina Dog mix whose blue eyes and perky ears catch attention in any room. At 2 years old and about 43 lbs, Halo brings a blend of shy sweetness and playful charm. He’s been through rough patches in life, so he could use a calm household that has some patience as he continues to settle. Since joining his foster family, he’s shown himself to be snuggly, silly, eager to learn, and always up for the next treat or enrichment toy. He loves lounging outside, easy leash walks, and making new dog friends. He’s crate trained, fully house-trained, and shines in the company of other dogs. A home with older, dog-savvy kids (15+) who understand shyness will suit him best, and cats are a no-go. He knows his basics like “sit” and “lay down,” and responds well to a gentle approach. Halo is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. After a tough start, he’s ready for a family that can give him the time and kindness he deserves.
