About Jeanne

Jeanne is a gentle 10-year-old beagle with a calm, easygoing nature. She's come a long way since battling IMHA, a serious autoimmune condition affecting her liver. Because of it, Jeanne needs daily liver medication and can't receive vaccines, so exposure to infectious environments must be avoided. She’ll need regular vet checkups, ongoing medication, and consistent follow-up care for life. She’s thoroughly house trained and never destructive. Give her a soft bed (or a couch, or your bed) and she’s happy. Jeanne loves curling up against her person at night and will sleep through until breakfast. She asks to go out with a bark but never has accidents. She throws up occasionally but is 100% trustworthy in the home and never crated. Jeanne enjoys chilling with other dogs and has peacefully coexisted in a large pack at her foster home. Though mostly mellow, she’ll let you know when it’s time to eat or head upstairs—those are her favorite moments. Jeanne soaks up affection, is low-maintenance aside from her health needs, and thrives in a steady, caring routine. She’s patiently waiting to meet her family. Start your journey together!
