Meet Cassie, a sweet and adorable girl looking for her forever home. At around 7 years old and weighing approximately 34 lbs, she’s ready for a calm, nurturing environment. Cassie previously faced changes when her family welcomed a baby, and now she’s in a loving foster home, waiting for the right family to come along. Cassie prefers to be the only dog in her new household, as she hasn’t felt comfortable sharing toys or treats with other dogs. However, she's shown she can enjoy the company of some local canine friends, like her neighbor’s Springer Spaniel. No cats for Cassie, please. While younger kids were too much for her in the past, older kids aged 15 and up might be a suitable match if they understand her needs. This affectionate girl can be shy at first, but her loving nature shines through once she's secure. A quiet home will suit her best, and she tends to feel more at ease with female companionship. Cassie has an active mind and enjoys playing fetch, going for walks, and, of course, receiving belly rubs. She’s smart and knows commands like sit, stay, and come, which can be further developed with the training classes provided by Mostly Mutts. Cassie is spayed, vaccinated, and eager to find a gentle family to share her love with.
