About Jethro
Jethro has survived hard times. Three years ago, he was rescued from abuse in Philadelphia and taken to a vet hospital, where a committed team nursed him back to health. Since then, he's become a happy, sweet, and gentle soul who spends his days in boarding, winning over every staff member. Now about 5–7 years old and around 60 lb, Jethro thrives on routine and is on daily medication that keeps his skin in good shape. Jethro is friendly with other dogs he's met at the clinic—he enjoys people and canine company alike. However, he hasn't lived with other dogs before, so any introductions should be slow and thoughtful. He isn't suited for homes with cats, as he's just too rough for feline friends. Jethro listens attentively, comes when called, sits on command, and really pays attention to his person. He's long overdue for a real home where he can give—and receive—the love he deserves.
