Jonathan
AvailableJonathan is a small adult male Chihuahua in St. Paul, MN, sporting a short apricot and fawn coat. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Although Jonathan has special needs that require an adopter who recognizes his spicy personality, he is a companion who will bring a lot of character to the right home.
About Jonathan
Jonathan sidles in with a confidence that could fill a room. He’s a Chihuahua with enough personality to anchor his own TV show and doesn’t miss a chance to prove it. Born February 1, 2016, he channels all the classic Chihuahua traits—spirited, ornery, and impossibly charming if you know how to handle him. Jonathan seeks a single, child-free household where his quirky personality is understood and respected. Families with kids need not apply; this is a dog who likes his boundaries and doesn’t forgive a heavy-handed approach, especially when it comes to nail trims. While he’s fiercely independent, Jonathan does surprise—he enjoys the company of other dogs and even cats. He loves outdoor walks, and a patient walker will earn his trust over time. Jonathan needs someone comfortable with his feisty side and willing to approach things (and him) at his pace. Stick with him and you’ll have an endlessly interesting, loyal companion who sees the world in his own terms. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
