About Zoe
Meet Zoe, a Chihuahua born around March 7, 2020. She's a sweet girl with a background full of transitions. Although she takes her time warming up, once she feels comfortable, Zoe becomes an affectionate cuddle buddy. She has formed a close bond with her caregiver, showing signs of anxiety when left alone, but she typically settles down after a while. Zoe has been left alone for up to six hours without any accidents or destructive behaviors, demonstrating her house-trained nature. She communicates her needs by scratching at the door when it’s time to go out, but she isn’t kennel trained. Zoe interacts well with children, having been great with a 3.5-year-old girl in her current home. While initially respectful of the resident cat, Zoe has had a few instances of lashing out, so a cat-free home might be best for her. She gets along well with smaller dogs and has positively met larger dogs while on a leash. Zoe enjoys her walks, exhibiting medium energy and loves the freedom of running around in open spaces. Car rides see her snug on your lap, although she's fine in a kennel as well. With her playful, treat-motivated spirit, Zoe will be a wonderful addition to the right family.
