Pops is a 7-year-old Beagle mix who knows the value of both play and relaxation. He’s house trained—though not above the occasional accident in a new space—and sleeps well through the night in his crate. Left home alone, he behaves like a gentleman. Pops is most content when daily walks and a few interactive games are part of his routine. He’s particularly fond of tug-of-war and snuffle games for treats, and after he’s had enough excitement, he’ll find his way to the couch or recliner next to you. During his walks, Pops tends to get excited when he spots wildlife or dogs, a trait rooted in his Beagle instincts. He’s making steady progress in leash manners with a trainer. Pops is happiest living with smaller dogs and can be reactive with dogs his size or larger, so a home without other big dogs suits him best. He does not get along with cats.
