About Pops
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Meet Pops, a charming 7-year-old Beagle/Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix who thrives on both playtime and snuggles. Pops has mastered house-training and settles easily into a crate for a peaceful night's sleep. When left home alone, he remains a polite and trustworthy companion. He simply delights in daily walks, engaging games of tug-of-war, and especially enjoys activities where he can exercise his superb Beagle nose hunting for treats. After outdoor fun, Pops is happiest cuddled on the sofa or lounging in a recliner, enjoying quality time with his favorite people. Out on walks, Pops’ keen nose leads the way and he gets especially excited about rabbits, squirrels, and meeting new dogs. He's been working hard on his leash manners with help from a trainer. Pops is most comfortable with smaller dogs and can be reactive toward other dogs his size or larger, so he'll truly shine in a home without big dogs. He's irresistibly affectionate—always eager to curl up beside you or rest his head on your lap—and loves having both structure and positive interactions at home. A home with a securely fenced yard is a must for Pops so he can safely explore and sniff as much as he desires. Pops would be happiest in an active but structured household that enjoys outdoor adventures and has children over ten years old. He’s not suited for homes with cats. With his loving and playful spirit, Pops will be your loyal adventure buddy and snuggle companion, ready for your next adventure and a cozy evening by your side. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
