About Stitch

Stitch is one half of a lively puppy duo that came into the world against the odds. His mom, Myrtle, was rescued on her last day at the San Antonio shelter, giving Stitch and his sister Lilo a real shot at a new life. Stitch is a Beagle mix with unmistakable charm, about five months old and already showing off his playful nature. He’s always up for a round of fetch or chasing toys, and he lights up in the company of other dogs and children—even with the little ones. However, Stitch’s puppy exuberance might overwhelm older, more reserved dogs, so a more tolerant or playful canine companion would be best. He’ll be fully vaccinated soon and can travel to Colorado as early as March. Red Fern Animal Rescue offers a two-week foster-to-adopt trial, giving you time to make sure he’s the right fit for everyone at home. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
