About Indy

Indy was just hours away from being euthanized in a high-kill shelter in New Mexico due to his extreme fear. Underneath that worry was a sweet boy needing a chance. Thankfully, Indy found a rescue that believed in him, and he has made incredible strides since then. Now, when Indy sees his people, he wags his tail with joy. This Lab mix carries a lovable goofiness, often acting like a big puppy. He's a mellow guy who enjoys spending time at home or going out for walks. Indy is potty trained, knows how to sit, and is eager to learn more tricks. He gets along well with other dogs but has had some negative experiences with crates, so he prefers a home where he can roam freely. Although initially cautious around adult men and small children, he quickly warms up once he feels safe. Indy needs a patient, loving family to continue building his confidence. Indy's journey has been tough, but he's ready to embrace a new family who will give him their heart. His adoption fee covers his neuter, microchip, and full set of vaccinations.
