About Jasper
Jasper is the quintessential Heeler puppy. Bursting with energy, he's always on the go, except when he’s happily gnawing on a bone or cozying up in his kennel, where he’s an absolute angel. His foster has been teaching him to enter his kennel on command, and you can bet he’ll be right there if a piece of kibble is in sight. Smart as a whip, Jasper learned "sit" in under 15 minutes and has already added "down," "paw," and "circle" to his repertoire. His excitement is evident even when he’s sitting still, radiating through his little feet. He excels in training and would thrive with someone ready to keep him engaged. Walking on a leash is no issue for him, and he’s learning to socialize well, now understanding that not every passerby is a threat. Jasper gets along well with other dogs and is still picking up good manners around cats; he's friendly but still needs a bit of guidance. While not a huge snuggler, he adores being near you and has a delightful penchant for playful kisses. With a great mohawk to boot, what more could you ask for in a pup? If an intelligent, active companion sounds right for you, Jasper is your guy. At 6 months old, Jasper is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He weighs approximately 15 pounds and is on preventive medication for fleas and heartworms. Thanks for considering adopting from Texas Cattle Dog Rescue!
