Wanda is a large, female dog available for adoption. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. While she can be dog-selective, she is generally friendly and is good with children. Currently in Tarrytown, GA, Wanda is eager to find a loving home where she can show her true personality.

About Wanda

Wanda is set to arrive in New Jersey on November 12, 2026, and will be available for adoption at the Tractor Supply in Ringoes over the weekend of November 14-15. Despite being in our Georgia rescue since September 2023, she has yet to find her forever home. Now, we hope her journey north will change that. Wanda is eager to show you the love and companionship she can offer. Having spent most of her life at the rescue, she may require some patience as she adjusts to a new environment. She enjoys leash walks and would thrive in a space where she can run and play off-leash. While she generally gets along with other dogs, she can be selective at times. A meet-and-greet is recommended for households with dogs. Unfortunately, she does not get along with cats. Wanda is up to date on her vaccinations, deworming, and preventatives. She recently tested negative for heartworms and parasites but may need some additional house training in her new home. She comes with a microchip for added safety. Start your journey together!
