About Max

Max is a seven-year-old Labrador Retriever mix who was surrendered because his owner could no longer care for him. He has spent 45 days at the shelter, and it's starting to wear on him. Max loves his walks and enjoys the company of volunteers. He gets along well with other dogs and children, making him a great family pet. While he is housebroken, transitioning into a new home may require some adjustment. Max is microchipped and is looking forward to finding a loving family. Since he is not yet neutered, potential adopters must live in Stafford, Spotsylvania, King George, Fauquier, Culpeper, Caroline, Prince William, or the City of Fredericksburg. The adoption fee is $45, and adoptions are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Donโ€™t forget to bring a photo ID and proof of your current address when you come to meet Max.
