About Ivy
Meet Ivy. This sweet Labradoodle came to us as an owner surrender, having spent too long in a cramped space with little attention. Thankfully, Worthy Dog stepped in to help before she faced an uncertain future at the county shelter. Ivy arrived in rough shape, suffering from anemia and malnourishment. Thanks to her foster mom, Cindy, she has gained weight and now exudes the vitality and joy she was meant to have. Today, Ivy is house-trained, knows how to use a dog door, and enjoys her time indoors while entertaining herself with toys. Her love for toys is evident; sheβs known to happily destroy stuffed animals, so be prepared to keep a good supply at home. Ivy is great with other dogs, making friends easily at the dog park and enjoying spirited playdates with her foster sister, Libby. She gets especially excited when she meets new dogs, always greeting them with friendly barks. Ivy is also a people and kid-friendly dog. While she barks to alert her family when someone arrives, she quickly warms up to guests, showing her affectionate side. This loyal girl loves curling up with her loved ones for some quality downtime. An active dog at heart, Ivy enjoys walks and outdoor activities, eager to join her family on hikes or adventures. Back at home, she tends to relax after playtime but does need her new family to manage her food motivation and some playful counter-surfing tendencies. Feeding her in her crate has been a successful strategy, helping maintain harmony with other dogs. While Ivy is still refining her leash manners, she does well meeting dogs while out on walks and simply needs more practice. She thrives with other dogs and would love a canine companion or an active adoptive family willing to engage her in play. After all sheβs been through, Ivy deserves a loving home that will appreciate her fun-loving spirit and provide the stability she craves. She's ready to continue her journey with a family who will shower her with love and care. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
