About Pepper

Add some seasoning to your day with Pepper! This delightful 6-month-old Boxer and Black Labrador Retriever mix currently weighs 40 pounds and is a joy to have around. Rescued from the streets of Tennessee, she’s ready to bring so much love to her new forever home. Pepper is learning house manners in her foster home, balancing her time between an outside kennel and a comfy crate inside. She doesn't bark excessively and is really easy to manage. Walking on a leash is a work in progress, and while she’s getting better with car rides, her foster takes her on short trips nearby to build her confidence. Pepper loves meeting new people and enjoys playtime with the neighborhood dogs. Although she hasn't been around kids or cats yet, she's hopeful they'll embrace her warmth! Loud noises can make her a bit nervous, but that’s only natural. Pepper is spayed, her vaccinations are up to date, and she is eager to join your family! You can begin the adoption process by submitting an application. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
