About Lady Bird

Lady Bird is a brave young Dachshund who recently arrived at Central Texas Dachshund Rescue after a traumatic experience. She was struck by a car, but luckily a good Samaritan was there to take her to a clinic for treatment. After being evaluated, it was determined that she had a broken leg and a pelvic fracture, leading to a successful surgery soon after. Lady Bird is on the mend in her foster home, where she is recovering well and receiving love and care. She will need to be spayed in a few weeks, and she's been a trooper throughout her recovery. This affectionate girl does wonderfully with dogs, making her a great addition to a friendly home. Keep an eye on her progress and updates on our website. Ready to meet your new best friend?
