Meet Astrid! 4 Years Old | 45 lbs | Australian Kelpie Mix | Spayed Female Astrid is a sweet, friendly girl with a lovely personality and a whole lot of love to give! Originally found as a stray, Astrid was lucky enough to find a family to call her own. Unfortunately, military orders have her humans relocating, and she's now searching for a new family to love. At 4 years old, Astrid is well past those wild puppy days and already has some wonderful manners under her belt! She's house trained, crate trained, and knows basic commands. She's friendly with adults, loves kiddos, and gets along well with other dogs. Cats are still a mystery, as she hasn't had the opportunity to meet any just yet. Astrid does have one little preference: she's not particularly fond of car rides. She'd much rather enjoy life with all four paws on solid ground, thank you very much! This lovely girl would make a wonderful addition to a family looking for a friendly, affectionate companion who already knows the ropes of living in a home. Astrid has already experienced the uncertainty of life as a stray and is now facing another big change through no fault of her own. The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
