Cupcake will remain in the Recovery Room until cleared for adoption. She is bonded to Rottie.

Cupcake is a beautiful 6-year-old girl with a loving heart and a strong desire to be close to her people. Once she gets to know and trust someone, she becomes an incredibly devoted companion, happily following her person from room to room, snuggling close on the couch, and soaking up every bit of affection she can get. She enjoys being involved in daily life and thrives on companionship, making her an ideal match for someone looking for a loyal best friend. While she can be a little cautious with new people at first, her sweet personality quickly shines through, revealing a gentle, affectionate dog who wants nothing more than to belong.

Cupcake enjoys exploring the yard, lounging around the house, and keeping an eye on everything happening around her. She is house-trained, knows basic commands like sit and down, and is continuing to work on her manners and leash skills. She's a strong girl who gets excited on walks and would benefit from continued training and consistency. Cupcake shares a close bond with her sister, Rottie, and has shown herself to be attentive and caring toward animals she knows, but she would do best in a home without cats or small animals. Due to some food-guarding tendencies, meals should be managed thoughtfully to avoid competition. She may also react defensively if she feels threatened, making a home with adults or older, respectful children the best fit.

With secure fencing, patient guidance, and lots of love, Cupcake will blossom into an incredible companion. Her greatest joy is being with her people, and the family who welcomes her into their home will gain a loyal, affectionate friend who is always ready to offer companionship, cuddles, and unconditional love.
