Meet Tucker! Tucker is a petite Rat Terrier mix, approximately 1 year old, and he's starting to figure out that having people in his corner is a pretty wonderful thing! Tucker and his buddy Tallulah came to our attention after community members reported that the pair appeared to have been left to fend for themselves. Thanks to a wonderful community effort and the help of Noah's Arc, both dogs were safely trapped and brought into care. Tucker is coming around beautifully! He's enjoying pets now, beginning to seek out affection, and showing us that it may not take long for him to realize just how good life with people can be. We're incredibly proud of his progress! Rat Terriers are known for being lively, curious, and fun-loving little companions, and Tucker has all the potential to be that perfect little sidekick. He'd love an adopter who enjoys staying active, going on walks, exploring, and including their dog in everyday adventures. His smaller size makes him a convenient travel buddy, too! Tucker is still learning about indoor life and will need someone willing to give him a little patience as he continues building confidence. We'll be here to help support that transition. Tallulah and Tucker do not need to be adopted together. Each is looking for a home of their own! About Noah's Arc Animal Rescue Noah's Arc Animal Rescue is a nonprofit animal rescue located in East Tennessee. Since 1991, we have been dedicated to rescuing homeless dogs and cats and helping them find safe, loving, lifelong homes. Our pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick prevention, dewormed, and examined by a veterinarian. Dogs are heartworm tested and cats are FIV/FeLV tested when age appropriate, unless otherwise noted. Meet-and-greets are scheduled by appointment after an adoption application has been submitted. Our adoption process is designed to help each pet find the right forever home.
