About Topper
Topper is ready for the cozy home he deserves after a long journey. This small Rat Terrier mix, about 8 years old, was discovered wandering alone in a neighborhood in Morristown. Initially, people were worried when he seemed unable to get up, and he was brought to Noah’s Arc for help. It became clear that Topper wasn't injured; he was simply an old soul, weary from wandering, and searching for a safe place. Unfortunately, no owner came forward, leaving us to piece together his past. During his time with us, we found an old pellet lodged in his leg, a reminder of tougher times. Today, Topper has settled in beautifully. Despite having cataracts and some hearing loss, he navigates his world at his own pace. He thrives on gentle care, patience, and love. Topper has shown he can be comfortable around other dogs and even cats. We’re not seeking someone to change him; we want a kind heart to give him stability and comfort. Topper deserves a place where he can spend his golden years with security and kindness. Watching him enjoy life, it’s clear he wants to make the most of it.
