About Bowser
Meet Bowser! Bowser is a delightful 15-pound Shih Tzu with a personality that's bigger than his size. Named after the Mario villain, he embodies a bit of that sassy, bossy energy youβd expect. Though he might come off a bit grumpy at first, beneath that tough exterior lies a loving companion waiting to form a bond. Having had a challenging start in life, Bowser takes time to warm up to new people. He needs a patient adopter who respects his boundaries and allows him to come around on his terms. Once he decides to trust you, he will follow you everywhere. His signature moves include being a couch parrot, where he loves to perch right behind you for snuggles, and spinning with joy when heβs particularly happy. He keeps an eye on everything outside from his window lookout and enjoys rolling in anything smelly, a true boyβs boy! Although he lives with other large dogs, Bowser prefers his personal space and may feel possessive over his favorite human. While Bowser hasnβt shown much interest in toys yet, we believe that will change as he becomes more settled. Heβs currently working on his potty-training and makes progress with a consistent schedule. Bowser does well in his crate overnight, though he might express his discontent with some whining. Since Bowser can feel frightened if cornered, itβs important that his new home avoids forcing interactions. He may do best in an adult-only environment or one with older, respectful children who can give him the space he needs. Bowser is looking for a loving, patient person who will help him become the sweet, affectionate companion heβs meant to be. If you have room on your couch and enjoy the company of a charming little parrot, Bowser could be your perfect match! Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and letβs get started.
