Nova came from a neglected environment and is still learning that the world is a safe and wonderful place. Because of her past, she can be shy and reserved when meeting new people or experiencing unfamiliar surroundings. However, once she feels safe and comfortable, her affectionate personality truly shines! Nova transforms into an incredibly loving, snuggly little girl who enjoys being close to her humans and soaking up all the affection she can get. Despite her difficult beginning, Nova has a playful and curious side! Her absolute favorite game is tug-of-war, and she loves chewing on bones and enjoying walks once she’s comfortable with her surroundings. She’s a fairly quiet girl in the house and rarely barks, except when she gets excited during playtime! Nova does wonderfully with other dogs and cats and enjoys their companionship. She would thrive in a calm, patient, and loving home where she can continue building her confidence at her own pace. A peaceful environment with a predictable routine would be ideal for helping her feel secure and allowing her wonderful personality to blossom. This smart little girl is already crate trained and potty trained!
