Sable just might be your girl! Born 11/29/25, Sable is a beautiful Australian Shepherd with brains, affection, and plenty of that classic Aussie personality. She’s a quick learner, eager to please, and loves being part of the action. Sable is great with kids of all ages. Of course, she is a herding dog, so when the excitement level goes up, she may decide it’s her job to get everyone rounded up and back in formation! This clever girl is housetrained and does well when left home alone, although she’s never been crate trained. And fair warning: if you leave something tempting on the counter, Sable may take it upon herself to conduct a little quality-control inspection. Sable would love a home where she has plenty of room to run, exercise, play, and keep that smart Aussie brain busy. She does well with other dogs, especially those who enjoy a good play session! She can be protective of high-value bones around other dogs, so she’ll benefit from an experienced, confident adopter who can continue helping her learn good canine manners. She does not guard these items from people. If you’ve been dreaming of a loyal, loving, intelligent companion who will keep life interesting and put a smile on your face, Sable may be the Aussie girl you’ve been waiting for! Ready for some Aussie adventures? Apply today and come meet Sable! ❤ï ̧ Sable is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on monthly heartworm and flea prevention.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions. We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
