At just 3 years old, Hunter has already survived the euthanasia list, heartworm treatment, and surgery on both knees. After meeting with our vet and an orthopedic surgeon, we learned his knee surgery failed and his hips are in rough shape too. Unfortunately, neither feels additional surgery is likely to improve his quality of life. But Hunter still deserves to live life to the fullest, even if his body may fail him before his spirit does. Thankfully, Hunter is a professional couch potato. He loves short walks, rolling in the yard, boat rides, car rides, and hanging out with other dogs. He's happiest just enjoying the simple things. So that's exactly what we're going to let him do. In the meantime, we'd love for Hunter to find a foster or forever home where he can spend his days being spoiled, loved, and living life on his own terms. Interested in fostering or adopting Hunter? Due to his achy bones, kids 12+ please! MA License #0092
