About Paris

Paris is a delightful 2-year-old, 9 lbs Chihuahua/Dachshund mix with a tricolor coat of brown, black, and white. After entering the shelter in August along with 20 others, she quickly adapted to motherhood, giving birth to four puppies on the same night. Now that her little ones have found their own homes, it's Paris' turn to find a forever family. This sweet girl is a bit shy but thrives in the company of other dogs, so it's crucial she goes to a home with at least one friendly resident dog. Once she warms up, Paris is all about affection—think endless cuddles and kisses. She loves belly rubs and often makes herself comfortable in her nesting bed, burrowing under blankets to find that perfect spot. While she's adjusting well to crate training, she prefers being close to her humans, even snuggling in bed if allowed. Paris is also on her way to mastering house training, although she sometimes gets distracted when outside due to her eagerness for attention. She currently lives harmoniously with five dogs of all sizes and enjoys cuddling or playing, even with larger companions. Homes with children must have kids aged 10 and up, and while she hasn't been tested with cats, that can be arranged for the right adopter.
