Lakota is a family-friendly dog who gets along well with children, cats, and other dogs, making him an ideal companion for anyone seeking a loving friend. Meet Lakota, a joyful nine-year-old yellow Labrador Retriever. Weighing in at a sturdy 75 pounds, he’s more than just a regular dog; he’s got a puppy heart brimming with energy. Lakota cherishes his human companions and prefers lounging at their feet to chasing toys, although those squirrels do catch his attention! A large, fenced yard would be fantastic, but it’s not a must-have. He walks well on a leash and maintains his composure, never pulling despite his strength. Inside, he’s the perfect gentleman, with a no-jumping policy which he proudly follows. When guests arrive, he’s friendly and excited, but once the initial greetings are done, he’s content to settle nearby, quietly keeping watch. Life is best when shared with those we love.
