About Nova

Meet Nova, a 7-year-old Jindo who has truly come a long way. Weighing in at 48 lbs, her past was filled with the struggles of street life, where she faced harsh conditions and danger. When Nova arrived at the rescue, she was understandably anxious, often hiding and refusing to eat. It was heartbreaking to witness her retreat into herself, longing for safety and love. Thankfully, she found that safety with us. With each passing day, Nova has transformed into a joyful companion. She loves her daily walks with the KK9 Rescue team, where she happily explores the park and enjoys tasty treats from her caretakers. Nova now radiates warmth and calmness, having learned to trust people and revel in their affection. If you’re looking for a sweet and gentle companion, Nova is waiting for you. To meet her, join us at our next adoption event on Saturday, Nov 7 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Alta Dispensary, 52 Kenmare St A, New York, NY 10012. Click apply to start the adoption process.
