About Numi
Numi is a petite, long-bodied, short-legged Jindo/Corgi mix weighing in at around 35 pounds. At 6 years old, she’s already been through a lot—rescued from a difficult hoarding situation in South Korea, she’s seen her relatives and even her puppies find homes around the world. Numi’s journey has taken a bit longer because she’s fully blind in both eyes from advanced cataracts and glaucoma, though she’s pain-free and incredibly adaptive. Meeting her, most people don’t even notice her blindness—she navigates her environment confidently, loves sniffing the breeze, and bonds sweetly with her foster family. Numi’s very laid back and gentle. She prefers naps, belly rubs, and quiet company over noisy, busy environments. She does well in her crate, is house trained, and has proven herself brave and adaptable on walks or in new places. While she’s becoming more playful every day, she would thrive in a quieter home, preferably outside of big city noise. Only private meet and greets are being arranged for Numi, with pre-approved adopters invited for one-on-one time so she isn’t overwhelmed. If you’re looking for a mellow, loving companion and have a calm environment to offer, Numi is ready to meet you. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
