About Pollo
Pollo is a 6-year-old Jindo with a goofy streak that shows up once he has a chance to settle in. At 35 lbs, he starts out a bit shy and cautious, but give him a little time and he reveals his playful, loving side. Pollo responds well to structure, but he really shines when life isn’t too rigid—he’s happiest when there’s room for fun and spontaneity. He’s got a great recall and loves tearing around the park, whether he’s chasing his foster sibling or zooming in happy circles. He’s extra sweet once he gets comfortable, often winding himself around his foster for belly rubs and attention. If you’re looking for a future hiking companion who’ll be both silly and loyal, Pollo is that dog. He needs an experienced adopter or someone willing to invest the time to help him build trust. In-person meet-and-greets are available in NYC, and virtual introductions are possible for those outside the area. (As a Taurus, Pollo is steady, loyal, and enjoys the comforts of home.) Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
