About Rosco

Meet Rosco! With his adorable puppy face, you'd think Rosco was a young pup just figuring out the world. But this charming little guy is about 3 years old and tips the scales at around 20 pounds. He’s a Dachshund/Chihuahua mix, and whatever his recipe, the proportions are just right. Rosco’s puppyish looks aren't just for show; he's mastered the art of relaxation and is the epitome of chill. He meets new dogs like a pro—big, small, or just a little too energetic, Rosco stays calm and congenial during introductions. But his favorite activity is snuggling close to his humans. He loves cozy downtime and especially cherishes nap time. Plus, he's house trained, making him an ideal companion. Previously, he lived harmoniously with kids in his last home. Rosco ended up with the rescue after his previous owner left him behind on a farm, where he faced danger from coyotes. Thankfully, that is behind him, and he’s now looking for a loving family who can provide a safe, cozy home. If you're in search of a sweet, easygoing companion who enjoys quality time on the couch, Rosco might just be the perfect fit. He’s ready to step away from farm life and embrace the good life in a warm home. Click apply to start the adoption process.
