About Maribel

Meet Maribel! Maribel is a lovely 7-year-old Shar-Pei with an Isabella-colored coat that matches her gentle spirit. Despite her challenging past, she remains a sweetheart who is ready to embrace new beginnings. This charming girl gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is starting to enjoy playtime. She's house-trained, settles into her kennel easily, and truly appreciates the warmth of a family environment. Think of Maribel as a "fixer-upper with great bones"; she has so much potential just waiting for some love and care to shine through. Currently, Maribel is undergoing treatment for heartworm disease, and she's handling it like the champion she is. Once her treatment is finished, we will tackle her other medical needs, including entropion surgery and the removal of a fatty mass. All of this will help her feel her absolute best. For the family that chooses to adopt her, Maribel will be more than worth the wait. She has already triumphed over so much and is eager to start her next chapter surrounded by love. Could Maribel be the perfect missing piece for your family?
