About Buster

Meet Buster! This delightful two-year-old Dachshund is full of love and ready to bring joy to a new family. Buster was surrendered to our rescue in South Texas and is now on the lookout for his forever home, where he will be cherished and adored. Buster has interacted with children and has shown friendliness during those moments. He has primarily been around his Shih Tzu brother, so his experience with other dogs is limited but positive. He is already house-trained, but since he’s lived indoors, he might need some help adjusting to an outdoor potty routine. Patience and positive reinforcement will help him settle in as he learns the ropes of his new environment. At this stage, Buster still has some adjusting to do, but with love and consistency, he will thrive. He is scheduled to arrive in Virginia on November 13th. We’re excited for the chance to know him better once he settles into his foster home. Are you interested in making Buster a part of your family? Click apply to start the adoption process!
