About Barnaby

Barnaby is a charming 12-year-old Dachshund mix who weighs 16 pounds. Despite his difficult start in life as part of a cruelty case, he remains affectionate and trusting, often following his foster mom around like a tiny shadow. When she sits down, he loves to snuggle into her lap or perch on her shoulders, eager to feel loved. Barnaby is ready to enjoy all the adventures he missed in his younger years. He has a playful spirit, gleefully chasing squirrels and even attempting parkour by climbing the fence at his foster home. He's learning to walk nicely on a leash and gets along well with the other dogs, although he can thrive as the only pet too. He’s crate-trained with a little incentive and adores kids, making him a great addition to a family. If Barnaby is the companion you've been waiting for, take the next step to bring him home. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
