Who is ready to meet Charlotte? She is a 7 year old, 38 lbs, goldendoodle and is the sweetest dog. Previously, she was in a puppy mill situation and fortunately the Rescue Express was able to get her out. Charlotte would be a world champion in a staring contest. She has the ability to look in your eyes and find your soul. She is happiest when she can sit next to you on the couch and be pet. We do take her on long walks, but she is also content when you take her out for a quick walk around the block. She is crate trained and will go in her crate when she feels she needs some time alone, or when I am preparing dinner (crate is in the kitchen). She is totally nondestructive and house trained, so there is no need to crate her when you leave the house. She does not seem to have any idea what to do with toys. Charlotte is good with dogs, adults, kids and cats! Same as with toys, she does not seem to have any interest or idea how to play with any other dogs. Recently, she has developed some interest in chasing squirrels in our backyard. We have been fostering her for 1.5 months and only have heard her bark twice. Although she can be the only dog in household, she would benefit from another dog who can show her the ropes. And although she is fine being left alone for some periods, we would recommend a family where there is someone home most of the time.
